Tangerine Dream's Edgar Froese dies at 70

Edgar Froese, the founding member of the German electronic group Tangerine Dream, has died in Vienna, aged 70, the BBC reports.

This group were inspirational to me growing up. Their quality and sheer musical output will never be bettered. They were literally pioneers of the genre and masters of electronic music. Edgar Froese helped create some of the music that will still be here generations from now.
